Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV) Overview
The What & Where of Solar Panels
Solar Panels
Solar panels, also known as photovoltaic (PV) modules, are the key component of any solar energy system. They work by converting sunlight into electricity, which can be used to power your home or business. By installing solar panels, you’ll not only save money on your energy bills, but you’ll also reduce your carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.
We offer a wide range of high-quality solar panels that are designed to meet your energy needs and budget. Our team of experts will work with you to determine the best solar panel solution for your unique situation. We offer a variety of panel types, including panels made right here in the USA!
At NC Solar Now, we’re committed to helping you make the most of solar energy. We’re here to answer any questions you may have about solar panels, installation, or financing options. Contact us today to learn more about how solar panels can benefit you and your community.
Solar PV Monitoring
The Enphase™ Enlighten System
The Enphase™ Enlighten System interface allows for some handy web tools that we think you’ll love. Track your overall energy and per-panel energy production data, monitor your system’s health and share your data with other solar geeks! To boot, the companion product, MyEnlighten cloud-based monitoring, is a user-friendly web and mobile application that allows you to monitor your energy usage in real-time right from your smartphone. For those of you who aren’t as interested in seeing it for yourselves, we can act as ‘Big Brother’ with our monitoring services.
The SolarEdge Solution
The benefits of the SolarEdge solution with monitoring are numerous! The power optimizer can harvest up to 25% more energy from each module with constant performance feedback. It’ll also shut down each module for maximum safety in case of emergency. The inverter is responsible only for DC to AC conversion (other functions handled separately). Plus, you can connect on the go and monitor your system from anywhere with mobile apps.
Racking System
Racking is important because it keeps your panels attached to the house (or ground). It is the foundation for your solar installation. Selecting the appropriate racking for each application ensures that your investment can stand strong for decades to come. Our engineering team approaches each installation on an individual basis, designing a system to fit your specific needs and withstand the environmental demands for your area. We provide ground mount and roof racking, both of which will allow your solar panels to stand up to the strongest winds thanks to our suppliers, Iron Ridge and Unirac.
What Do Our Clients Say About Us?
“NC Solar Now was nothing short of amazing! They truly partner with their customers to ensure that they understand your goals upfront, communicate openly and excellently throughout the planning process, execute on time, and continue to support you and ensure you are aware of how to take advantage of new tax credits and rebate programs that you are eligible for. I am very happy with my 10KW system and the quality of the install, but above all, the ongoing support and customer service I receive from this company. I am endorsing them because they worked very hard to earn my trust and business and I know they will do the same for others. They have set a gold standard in my book!”
