Maintenance Plans

Solar systems will produce energy for decades, but can occasionally need preventative maintenance. Performing preventative maintenance on your solar system is a great way to rest assured you are keeping your equipment in good shape, as you likely already do for your home’s other appliances and systems.

Preventative maintenance services include:

Restore and/or upgrade system communications to the monitoring portal.
Inspect roof and array for damage, signs of leaking or other indications of premature wear.
Checking for bird or squirrel issues.
Inspect attic space for any sagging conduit or signs of water seepage.
Check array for any sagging or damaged wires and remedy where appropriate.
Check junction and combiner box connections, re-do any connections that appear loose and check all screws and grounding.
Inspect waterproof seal around mounted electrical boxes and conduit knockouts and re-seal where appropriate.
Test system voltages and check fuses in AC disconnect.
Upgrade inverter software when appropriate.
